Well, it's official -the Winns are becoming real people. We're finally getting in our yard!! Yeah! Our friend Lars put in this absolutely gorgeous rock wall. Cam was out there the entire time. He was a big help and he learned a lot. The top picture shows the patio Lars created using the same rock. I just love it!
We've also put in most of our trees. We've got apple, pear and plum trees. There is a gorgeous Linden tree in the back and three beautiful quaking aspens in the front. Not to mention, some lilac starts we picked up from a friend's property. It feels so good to have some greenery around here that isn't a weed! We still have to put in the concrete, sprinklers and grass. I think the plants and fence won't come until next year. It's a huge project, but worth it! I'm not ashamed to show my face outside anymore. :)
